First Committee
The Disarmament and International Security Committee deals with disarmament and related international security questions.
The First Committee will hold its organizational meeting on Thursday, 1 October 2009 to consider its tentative programme of work and timetable [A/63/397].
The Committee will begin its substantive work by holding a general debate on all
disarmament and international security agenda items from 5 to
12 October 2009.
